Sex and Health Part 3

Sex and Health with Back Pain is a patient guide to restoring sexual abilities lost to back pain.  Raise your hand if you have ever felt the stirrings of arousal but were so tired you opted for bed instead (I know my hand went up on this question, when I realized the connection between sex and yoga it took me to a whole new level in both areas).  (sex and yoga have another match) Yoga improves Intimacy.  Here is where sex and yoga are a very nice match.  It is a great way to bring the concepts of sex and yoga together. 

If you start to get bored then maybe consider letting your partner watch the yoga practice (this can lead to a very direct joining of sex and yoga), this can be very good if your partner seems to be loosing interest in sex (and we all do, this is a natural part of any relationship, sex always decreases over time, this can help you bring it back). Yoga additionally shows you self-acceptance–and it teaches you to love your body, you may feel more comfortable with sex and yoga being naked and inhibited during less sex. 

Through yoga practice, you may get insights on Erotic traditions. Some may be rituals which are rare from around the world and about the way to learn sex and yoga.  Discover the joys of sex and yoga and tantric yoga, the heightening of the spiritual sexual connection.  Oh yes, also: Lots of regular sex and yoga and meditation and the best wine you can afford as you realize that this little blip of an eyeblink of a gift of a life races by just impossibly fast, and therefore staring too long at the future or the past, at expectation and longing, memory and regret only means you don't get to truly experience the moment you're in right now. 

So, at the top of your agenda there needs to be a frank discussion of your pain limitations and expectations about sex.  It may require some gentle experimentation to find out what works but as in most sex advice, gentle is the best place to start.  In terms of maximizing you and your partner’s sexual pleasure, it is very important to stress that all you really need is your imagination and the willingness to experiment to open up new areas of intimacy.
