This Micky again,(the mouse) I'm getting used to this, I hope you will forgive my typos.
Pose of the Month this month is a Hip Stretch. For this exercise you will need a simple kitchen chair.
Lets see what we can do.
Place the chair in front of you and kneel in front of it. Catch hold of the chair back and bring your right foot on the chair seat and kneeling on your left knee.If the seat is too high then place a book or two under your knee to the required height, it will then be easier for you.
Now see if you can draw your body/hips into the chair keeping your back straight. Your head, shoulders, hips and left knee (which is on the floor) is in a straight vertical line. Hold for as long as comfortable and repeat with the other leg.
If you would like to work deeper when you are ready, take the knee which is on the floor further back, this will stretch your thigh that much more, do take care.
