Avoiding Back Pain When You Stay Long In Front of the Computer

With so many things to do at the office, like deadlines that need to be met, continuous follow-up with clients through online mediums and other tasks that require full attention, there are many office workers who tend to ignore that they are already developing back pains from sitting for a long time and spending so much of it in front of the computer.

There are other factors that contribute to the aggravation of one's back pain, hence the reason why over 1000,000 Americans suffer from back pain, especially on the lower area, every day. Aside from sitting for long periods of time, this can also be gained when you lift things the wrong way, sleeping at the wrong position or carrying poor posture. Back pain can also be caused the psychological stress that contributes to further physical pain, especially on the back area.

As a beginner and a very busy person in this instance, you can start with the Yoga form known as Cobra. This is done by laying out flat on your stomach. Your palms should be placed down on the ground. You should hold this still while keeping a relaxed state and your elbows back and out. When you feel comfortable at this position, begin raising your body until your back is arched, and then hold it for about 15 seconds. After this, begin lowering your upper body slowly to the ground.
