Shoulder Pain and Shoulder injuries in yoga. There can be many reasons for shoulder pain some of the most common were explained in Shoulder Pain 1. 

A lot of shoulder pain is due to overuse during sports related activities.  Frozen Shoulder, which is medically known as ‘Adhesive Capsulitis’ is a common cause of shoulder stiffness and shoulder pain that occurs more often in older people. 

Yoga

Yoga is a perfect mind and body discipline for athletes, providing a deep understanding of the body while learning to focus and calm the mind in order to maintain postures (asanas). 

Yoga is not a future-focused, mental notion that your body must immediately change, but rather yoga asks one to think in the now by meeting the body right where it is. 

Shoulder

Shoulder Exercises Often, an orthopaedic surgeon will prescribe a series of exercises aimed at strengthening the shoulder muscles. 

Pain

Pain at night is common, and it may be bad enough to wake you.  Pain may also occur when the arm is forcefully pushed upward overhead.  There may be different angles of the arm that either help or hinder your pain.

Conclusion

Just by doing a few relevant exercises a few minutes a day (if you are really keen and want to get rid of your shoulder pain try half an hour of exercise daily). Over a period of time your shoulder will heal.
