<p>However, there is good news for those who suffer from constant back pain.  Yoga, which is a revered thousand-year practice,  can be truly effective in treating back pain.  Yoga is good for physically, emotionally and mentally prepping you up, and is great for relieving stress and it&#8217;s other related consequences.  Once you are able to determine your schedules, as well as find time to practice this revered form of exercise and meditation, then find a class that fits your schedule, and look for friends or buddies who can join you in working out.     </p>
<p>Yoga is a very gentle and personal method for achieving your physical and emotional needs.  When faithfully practicing it, it will help to rejuvenate the senses, as well as heal any muscular or joint pains that you may experience.  Depending on your needs, yoga can be practiced in a manner that fits your requirements of your body and mind, and you may also work as deep or as shallow as you see it fit.  <br />

It&#8217;s a fact that spending long hours seated at the desk, or lifting heavy items the improper way, can be damaging to your back, neck and spine.  Whatever you&#8217;re doing, always keep an eye on your posture.  When you&#8217;re sitting at your desk, remember to keep your back straight, instead of always being hunched or leaning improperly.  Spending so much time at your desk can cause the shortening and weakening of your torso or back muscles,  which can lead to chronic back and shoulder pain.   <br />

To relieve stress and tension, constantly implement yoga&#8217;s stretching routines, workout and meditation techniques, so that you&#8217;ll be able to relieve body pain.  Daily exercise  also aids in rejuvenating your tired and aching muscles, as well as in lubricating your joints.  If you have a 9 to 5 desk job, try leaving your desk for a few minutes, and spend time doing brief stretching and walking exercises, as well as devote considerable time during the week , for practicing the tenets of yoga.</p>
<p>Keeping the body mobile is important and being aware of your posture, it doesn&#8217;t take much to throw your body out of alignment. Little and often through the day is a good way to help a healthy body.  </p>

<p>The incessant discomfort brought about by this condition can be truly taxing to the person, both physically and emotionally.  Doing simple household or work-related tasks can be a truly tough one for back pain sufferers, and most patients also are forced to spend large sums of money for invasive and sometimes addictive treatment forms. </p>
<p>What’s good about practicing yoga is that, there’s ample evidence to indicate that the exercise and meditation routines of yoga help a lot in reducing back, neck and shoulder pain, as well in rehabilitating and reinforcing the body’s muscles and joints. </p>
<p>There’s a popular notion, which stresses that bed rest is the best remedy for back pain.  However, I must stress that keeping the body moving, as well as keeping the circulation flowing by doing gentle exercises, should do more to ease back pain.  Remember that you need to listen to your body, as well as avoid exerting too much pressure on it.   </p>

<p>A lot of studies have shown that yoga offers more benefits as compared to other conventional forms of exercise.  The relaxation exercises, meditation sessions, stretching and breathing routines of yoga are great at reducing pressure on the back, neck and shoulders. </p>
<p>Undertaking a mixture of yoga postures should help to align and reinforce the spine, and therefore speed-up the body’s ability to recover.  If these exercises are done on a regular basis, you’ll be sure to enjoy long-term benefits, and need not spend for costly and possibly addictive medical treatments.  </p>
<p>Getting into a regular routine of yoga exercise is a good habit to adopt. It is good to start with a short time of exercise say, 30 minutes in the morning and building up gradually to perhaps an hour or one and a half hours. Most classes run for one and a half hours. Try it and see.<br />

<p>Those who suffer from back pain will be glad to tell you that faithfully practicing the art of yoga does a great deal in relieving back pain.  Exercises such as strengthening, stretching and toning contribute a great deal towards considerably reducing back pain.  As those who suffer from this debilitating condition get to know more about their body, they will find out that stress plays a major part in fueling back pain.  Faithfully following the tenets of yoga will allow for a more holistic healing process, which should do more than simply eradicate a painful back or neck.     </p>

The philosophy behind yoga stresses that you should move in a manner that does not strain or exert too much force on the body.  Yoga should be a meditative form of exercise and therapy, which should be practiced in such a manner that harmonizes all aspects, including mind, body and soul, and although it may seem difficult to follow at the start, constant practice should help you perfect the art.   </p>
<p>As you continue learning about the centuries-old system of yoga, you’ll find out that the different postures and exercises will give you better insight on your body’s alignment.  As we often spend most of our day sitting on a desk, working in a computer, and spend only minimal time exercising, our muscles and joints weaken and don’t properly function. </p>
<p>Regular yoga exercises should help to refresh, realign and reinforce our muscles and joints, improve our posture, rewind our body’s balance, and overall alleviate the pain brought forth by back pain.  With a little effort, you’ll realize that doing a few stretches, and regularly meditating, will do a great deal in kicking away the rigors of back pain.   </p>
<p>If we come from the heart in our practice, rather than from the ego, the results will be more life enhancing. Our ego encourages us onwards, although initially to start with that&#8217;s ok then our ego pushes us further. And if we do not control our ego we can end up with more pain because we are working too hard! By keeping in &#8216;the flow with the divine&#8217; we will accomplish more on a deeper level.<br />

<p>The published studies have indicated that practicing the simple form of yoga helps to significantly alleviate back pain, as well as reduce the discomfort, tightness and other related symptoms.  It was noted that the individuals who attend weekly yoga classes, and do as little as 75 minutes of exercise, showed major progress in easing the symptoms of back pain, as compared to those who did nothing at all.  The study also pointed out that those who practiced yoga at home even showed better results, as compared to those who attended formal yoga and exercise classes.           </p>
<p>The exercise classes were primarily designed by yoga teachers to specifically address the problems of back pain, and activities such as forward stretches and various twists were undertaken by each student.  Some exercise patterns were also repeated, depending on each student’s energy levels.  All exercise participants however, manifested significant improvement.      </p>
<p>Yoga is known to give the body a myriad of benefits.  It gives suppleness and elasticity to a person’s body, as well as reinforce the muscles and re-balance the body.   As there are different forms of yoga, students should first be able to find the right class and teachers for them.  Once you begin the yoga class, you should start slowly, and do things gently, as well as keep an open mind, and follow to the hilt what your teachers say, when undertaking the exercises.<br />

Yoga experts stress that the proper exercise regimen needs to start with having the right posture.  The pelvic tilt is one exercise method that’s often unnoticed aspect, but is often considered to be a vital cog in eliminating back pain.  Doing the pelvic tilt helps to considerably improve and reinforce the body’s core muscles, as well as further reduce pressure on the back, and upgrade the body’s overall balance. </p>
<p>A simple core posture is the Plank, either on forearms on the floor or with arms straight. Maintaining this position for 30 seconds or more with a little tailbone tilt will give strength to your core and help maintain alignment.<br />

Bear in mind that since your psoas muscles are already dysfunctional, your other muscle groups will try to balance out your system by compensating for the dysfunctional psoas. This, in effect, would mean that you will begin to use your psoas less and less, making it degenerate even more, and ultimately rendering it unable to function completely and properly.</p>
<p>The psoas muscle is responsible for your joint’s and muscle’s range of motion, so if you have a dysfunctional psoas muscle, that means that your range of motion would be diminished. In effect, you will be more prone to incur injuries and pain when you do physically demanding activities.</p>
<p>It is very important that you are able to use your psoas properly and effectively in order for you to be able to reach your full physical potential, and one way to ensure that you can keep your psoas healthy and balanced is by doing certain exercises that helps lengthen and strengthen your psoas, and one way to do that is through yoga.</p>
<p>When doing certain yoga exercises, you will notice that certain muscles in your body will feel a bit tight, or that you may feel some level of strain. If your lower back and knees experience these feelings, then that is an indication that you might need to strengthen and lengthen your psoas muscles.</p>
<p>This is important because if you continue to let your other muscles compensate to lighten the load on muscles that are not able to function properly, then you will end up with overdeveloped muscles, which means that you will have an uneven and unbalanced body.</p>
<p>Fortunately for you, yoga exercises have specific movements and poses that is specifically designed to target most of your muscle groups to work, and even target specific muscles, such as your psoas, in order to help strengthen and lengthen them for a more balanced and even body. If you are able to release your psoas, you will experience a big difference on how your body function and yoga can do that.</p>
<p>Yoga exercises will help you develop your psoas so that you can enjoy its benefits. Your psoas will be able to work together with your other muscle groups, creating a balance. It is surprising how the psoas affects other areas of the body which you can become unaware of.<br />

This muscle is important in allowing your body to achieve a good range of motion and joint rotation, as well balancing your alignment. This is why this muscle can affect your posture, as well as cause certain physical ailments such as neck and back pains if it contracts.</p>
<p>The psoas muscle is actually situated in the area that connects your trunk to your legs, and if left untreated, could cause a number of physical problems. Aside from those mentioned above, psoas could also cause scoliosis, knee pain, infertility, menstrual pain, hip degeneration, digestive problems, and disc problems just to name a few.</p>
<p>The psoas muscle mainly works in flexing the spinal column and the hips. This means that it is used for major walking activities, for allowing the spine to bend and tilt forward, and for stabilizing and balancing your core and your trunk when you sit down. Dancers and athletes are actually able to show the full potential of psoas use as they are able to take full control of the movement of their bodies, allowing them to move elegantly and gracefully without sacrificing their bodies’ structural integrity.</p>
<p>Once the psoas muscle becomes dysfunctional, like when it becomes contracted, it can cause some problems and pain that could stretch from mid and lower spinal column down to the front area of the thigh, making it difficult for you to perform even the most basic of tasks.</p>
<p>Contracted psoas muscles is one example of a dysfunctional psoas muscle since this means that your body is used to maintaining a particular posture that is not normally how the psoas muscle should be. This is due to our postural habits which we use every day. The manner in which we sit, stand and walk are all factors that could lead to your psoas contracting. If you favor a particular way of sitting, standing and walking, it will translate to how your psoas muscle will function.</p>
<p>If untreated, the psoas muscle will continue to stay contracted, making it difficult to move and act right and quickly. Instead, you maintain a reactive and short psoas that will shorten further, and ultimately, could lead to muscle spasms more easily.</p>
<p>A good posture/asana for this is the pigeon pose and there are many variations of this pose from a simple beginner pose to a more advanced version.<br />

This treatment is actually designed to make sure that your body is able to balance the yin and yang energy flow in your body.</p>
<p>Emotional freedom technique is actually performed by simply using the tips of your middle three fingers to tap specific acupuncture points situated on certain areas of the body. These points are actually mirrored on the other side of the body and the face, so the acupuncture point on the left side is the same at the right side. When you tap, make sure that you use only an ample amount of pressure, just similar to when you are typing on the keyboard of your computer.</p>
<p>When you perform this method, you also need to employ a focusing phrase to go along your tapping. This focusing phrase is actually the one that helps you focus on a particular issue or problem that you want addressed, like for example your back pains. Make sure that when you use focusing phrases, you try to be as specific about the precise area and level of the pain that you are experiencing, as this will help you focus your attention to that problem area better.</p>
<p>During the entire EFT process, you simply need to tap the different tapping energy points situated on certain areas on your body while saying your focusing phrase.</p>
<p>If, however, the pain remains, then you need to figure out the exact cause of the pain. Sometimes, it is rooted to some unresolved emotional issues. It could be a different aspect of the situation. Once you have figured out what that cause is, simply formulate a new focusing phrase, this time focus on the new cause that you believe to be the culprit for your pain and use that as your focusing phrase.</p>
<p>Keep in mind that untreated back pain can have an adverse effect on your relationship. Although it may begin as a physical ailment, it quickly becomes an emotional problem later on, especially if the back pain keeps on recurring or is prolonged. Make sure that when using this type of method for treating your back pains, always keep an open mind and a positive attitude. Just make sure that you try to alleviate your back pain as soon as possible in order to avoid any relationship problems later on.</p>

<p>Ch’i Energy</p>
<p>The main thrust of emotional freedom technique is about the balancing of energy in the body. This is done by tapping specific acupuncture points on the body in order to allow this Ch’i energy to flow freely from one acupuncture point to the next through the meridians on the body, thereby eliminating any abnormal flow patterns of energy that could cause your body to experience certain problems, such as back pains.</p>
<p>Back pains are a result of energy disturbances in these acupuncture meridians. In order to be able to treat these physical ailments experienced by the sufferer, you need to reactivate the flow of energy by performing exercises on a regular basis. These exercises will help you prolong the “yang” energy in your upper body. If you want to rid your body of tiredness and accumulated bad energy, you need to exercise in the evening. If you want to draw vital energy from nature, then exercising in the morning is the way to go.</p>
<p>One way of letting these Ch’i energy flow without restriction is to perform a few breathing exercises. Being able to inhale and exhale smoothly will ensure that your energy will flow smoothly in your body as well.</p>
<p>Yin Energy</p>
<p>One of the main energies that flows through your acupuncture meridians is the Yin energy. This energy is believed to be associated with qualities of femininity, coolness, receptivity, solidity and darkness, and it flows mainly from the earth through your feet, to the torso, to the inside of your arms to your fingertips.</p>
<p>Yang Energy</p>
<p>Yang energy, on the other hand, is actually just the opposite of Yin energy. This energy is taken from the sun and goes through your hands, to your face and down to your feet. It is usually associated with qualities of masculinity, heat, hollowness, lightness, dryness and expansiveness.</p>
<p>Sickness and physical ailments, such as back pains, can be caused by the blockages of these yin and yang energy from flowing freely in the body’s acupuncture meridians. The only way to alleviate these ailments is through balancing these yin and yang energy to flow freely in the body.</p>
<p>Exercising on a regular basis will certainly help to improve the ailments of the body and help to re-align the energy of the body.<br />

Bear in mind that sex and back pains are two things that do not work well together. If you are one of those people who have back pains, then you know how difficult and problematic that can be when it comes to your sex life. In order to be able to rebalance your life, and avoid back pains from interfering in your relationship by creating relationship problems, you need to learn how to alleviate your back pain so that you can avoid disrupting your relationship.</p>
<p>The first thing that we need to discuss is how these physical ailments can affect and disrupt your sex life. Bear in mind that back pains can directly affect different facets in your life, and if left untreated, could lead to serious emotional, physical, psychological and sexual challenges that could create some problems for you.</p>
<p>There are actually a lot of different types of back pains, each one affecting different areas of your back. Any form of trauma, stress or injury to these areas could lead to serious physical limitations that can diminish your performance in bed.</p>
<p>Brittle Back</p>
<p>Brittle back actually refers to a type of back pain wherein the slightest movement of any kind will already generate a high level of intolerable painful feeling. People afflicted with this type of back pain will find it very difficult to perform during sex, especially since most if not all types of positions for sex may be too intolerable for you. You may be able to still have sex using sexual positions that do not risk too much movement on the back. Still, having sex with this condition can prove to be very problematic.</p>
<p>Flexion And Extension Principle</p>
<p>Flexion, as the name indicates, means that any movement that involves bending backwards will cause you some pain, while extension is just the complete opposite of that principle. People who experience the flexion principle might want to employ positions that allows for forward bending positions of the back, while people who experience extension principle problems might want to opt for positions that allow some form of support for the lower back arch. The use of pillows or other objects can be exploited to maintain the position for the duration of the act.</p>
<p>One Side Back Pain<br />
People who experience this type of back pain should be able to find comfort in any position just as long as they would be able to bend one leg, which is generally on the side that does not hurt. Partners might find it easier to do the deed when they simply lie on their sides.</p>
